Martha and I jogged a mile and saw a field of deer in a neighborhood nearby...it was magical. And then we went to Steak n' Shake. Yumm...Prince Royale Burger and Chocolate Covered Strawberry milkshake! Got another letter from Hyzer.

Had the absolute worst day, but ended with my parents and uncle coming down to check on me after a car accident and Dunkin Donuts.

Flew to Belize! Played Blackjack w/ some of the group and Robert told funny stories about his wife bringing fruit cake in the airport.

Made 2 new friends: Edward, Beatriz's cousin, and my new buddy Heidi. Got to chat with Edward in sign language and went to Xunantunich with Heidi as the best buddy ever.

Met some deaf children in Calla Creek and taught them a few ABCs in sign language with their mom. Kayla was PRECIOUS!

Went to Takal in Guatemala with some of the group and met some nice Canadians.

Did butterfly activity with Alex. Such precious kids. Heard a lot of, "Miss, miss" and got to use some of my Spanish with the Infant 1 and 2 class.

One A Days-February

Pretty good first day with DC--library and gym. Dinner at Chili's w/ Melissa (YUM, salmon!) and Love Actually!

Seahawks won the Super Bowl! Tried salmon on a bagel for the first time at the Coleman's....a very interesting and colorful family. DC did TEN laps and 15 min on the treadmill.

Pretty productive for a Monday evening...finished the project based inquiry article for Shea which turned out pretty good and did my ARC stuff.

Much better day with SC and finally got to meet my kid for reading clinic...should be interesting! Oh and JJ got his bday card.

Melissa and I went to Noodles & Company and saw Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson! She told me that she educated someone at her job by letting them know that "deaf and dumb" is NOT correct--yeah! Saw J's mom today and she let me know that they went over his words last night! Chick fil a lunch for 5 bucks at school today--yum!
