Martha and I jogged a mile and saw a field of deer in a neighborhood nearby...it was magical. And then we went to Steak n' Shake. Yumm...Prince Royale Burger and Chocolate Covered Strawberry milkshake! Got another letter from Hyzer.

Lesson learned: Don't change your schedule if you don't have to. Something WILL come up. Ham biscuit before work and Hamburger helper for dinner.

Had the absolute worst day, but ended with my parents and uncle coming down to check on me after a car accident and Dunkin Donuts.

Had a really good chat with Conradi for reading clinic and saw a familiar face at Olive Garden w/ my folks.

Flew to Belize! Played Blackjack w/ some of the group and Robert told funny stories about his wife bringing fruit cake in the airport.

Made 2 new friends: Edward, Beatriz's cousin, and my new buddy Heidi. Got to chat with Edward in sign language and went to Xunantunich with Heidi as the best buddy ever.

Met some deaf children in Calla Creek and taught them a few ABCs in sign language with their mom. Kayla was PRECIOUS!

Went to Takal in Guatemala with some of the group and met some nice Canadians.

Did butterfly activity with Alex. Such precious kids. Heard a lot of, "Miss, miss" and got to use some of my Spanish with the Infant 1 and 2 class.

Abbey did the most selfless thing and swapped seats with me on our way back to RDU when they announced they'd oversold seats. Made it back safely to Raleigh!

Went to the appointment with J and family and met his grandparents and Holly. J being silly and "dancing" to the weird sounds on the machine. Dinner with Melissa and Corrie at Olive Garden.

Had a delicious lunch with the BES EC team (pimento cheese & egg salad sandwiches...yes!). Did an interesting assignment for Teachers as Leaders and met 2 French people and an anthropology professor at NC State.

Hung out with Theresa and Alye for Alye's project. Watched God's Not Dead and it was pretty good, but felt bad the Deaf ministry couldn't stay.

Deaf Expo! Saw Jerry, Ms. Roxie, Kaifer and sister and more! DC enjoyed himself and apparently I'm his favorite! Oh and Jeremy came up and gave me a hug!! #swoon

Met Wachema at church today. She had some questions about Jehovah Witness. Alye came to church. Had Martha and Eliza over for dinner...yum!
